Dress Code

Hippitee Hop- loose wearing clothes, sweat pants, t shirts.  Please NO shorts and NO skirts as we will be on the ground rolling, sliding and tumbling.

Ballet - Ballet shoes, non-restraining attire, leotard and tutu optional.

REFUND/CREDIT POLICY:

For Dance Classes

Full payment is due at the time of registration, including a registration fee of $15.00 per new family, which is non-refundable. Otherwise, a full refund will be issued if you drop out of class prior to five days before the first class meeting. If you drop out any time after 5 days before the first class meeting, a refund will be issued, minus a cancellation fee of $15.00 as well as $25.00 for each week into the session at the time of cancellation, up to the second week. After the second class, there will be no refund, but credit toward a future session will be issued, in exceptional circumstances only. In this case, a credit certificate will be given that may be used by you or another family for a future session. It is valid for one year from the date of issue.

Hippitee-Hop

Your never too old to dance … and never too young.  Hippitee-Hop is Hip Hop for little people. This funky, soulful and always fun Hip Hop-based class teaches movement inspired from original classic Hip Hop party dances, as well as more modern urban styles. The songs/raps will capture children’s imagination, as well as teach them about musical timing. Students will bounce, spin, jump, slide, roll, freeze and more in this class that encourages individual creativity, along with group choreography.

Creative Ballet

Creative Ballet is an introductory dance class for young children, ages 3-6, with a major emphasis on FUN!  The classes incorporate movement with songs. Children will learn the basics of rhythm and use scarves, ribbons and beanbags to enhance their creativity, explore their imaginations, and develop their gross and fine motor skills.

Latin Fusion

This new class “fuses” Latin and contemporary dance into exciting, fun combinations that build flexibility, strength and body awareness.  Each class incorporates the music and basic steps of various Latin social dance forms including Mambo, Salsa, Samba and more.  Modern and jazz dance elements are woven into this rich the mix.

Twos on Their Toes

Accompanied by a parent or caregiver, the little dancers will enjoy floor exercises & songs, basic dance positions and gymnastics movements, dance games (ribbons, egg shakers, tambourine jumps, freeze dances, etc), and creative movement & free play.
