Kidberry’s Mixed Aged and Baby Music Together® classes include songs, rhythmic rhymes, movement and instrument play. These activities are presented as informal, non-performance-oriented musical experiences -- developmentally appropriate for children and easy for parents and caregivers - -regardless of their own musical ability. Each class is 45 minutes long and the session lasts for 10 weeks (summer is 6 weeks).    Two CD’s (one for home and one for the car), one Songbook and a Parent Guide DVD are included.

Mixed Age Classes: Newborn to 5 years old

This is the essential Music Together class, that children can attend from birth through age four enjoying all nine song collections. This basic class follows the recommendations of child development researchers—grouping children of a variety of ages because this fosters natural, family-style learning. Younger children enjoy watching and imitating older ones; older children learn by leading younger ones; and adults are happy because the children in the family can go to class together. Each child participates at his or her own level: singing, moving, chanting, listening, watching, and or exploring musical instruments. Any caregivers—parents, grandparents, nanny—can bring the children. The whole family is welcome for this important family music experience.

Baby Classes: Newborn to 12 months 

This is a specially designed Music Together class for infants up to eight-months old and their caregiver. Just for babies, this is a one-semester introduction to Music Together prior to enrolling in the mixed-age classes. The activities and materials are especially designed for parents who want to learn as much as possible about music development in infants. The music in this collection is compiled from other Music Together collections and is especially appropriate for infants who are not yet mobile.

Make-Up Policy:

You can make up three (3) classes per semester. Make-ups cannot be transfered to the next semester. Make-ups are only allowed in classes in which you are registered. There is no Make-ups for Camp classes and My Mini School Classes.

REFUND/CREDIT POLICY:

For Music Together Classes

Full payment is due at the time of registration, including a registration fee of $15.00 per new family, which is non-refundable. Otherwise, a full refund will be issued if you drop out of class prior to five days before the first class meeting. If you drop out any time after 5 days before the first class meeting, a refund will be issued, minus a cancellation fee of $15.00 as well as $30.00 for each week into the session at the time of cancellation, up to the second week. After the second class, there will be no refund, but credit toward a future session will be issued, in exceptional circumstances only. In this case, a credit certificate will be given that may be used by you or another family for a future session. It is valid for one year from the date of issue. A national curriculum fee of $40.00 ($32 for summer) is included in your tuition. It cannot be refunded if materials are opened.
